Since moving to the Charleston area in 1994, Jay has served our community as a real estate broker, insurance agent, and a home builder. Jay has established strong relationships with individuals, investors, corporations and local officials. His experience and ties gives him a very unique perspective as a Realtor.
He has a keen eye for making the right home repairs or updates to give sellers the best return on their investment. He also has years of experience overseeing and personally rehabbing houses and offices, which is a huge asset for prospective buyers who may need help identifying potential issues on their purchase. Whether he is working with a first time home buyer or a home selling veteran, Jay understands all aspects of real estate. With his specialized knowledge of buying, selling and leasing commercial properties, he is also Nicklaus Vance’s Realtor to represent clients in the commercial real estate space.
In his spare time, Jay enjoys spending time with his large family, volunteering on the missions counsel of his local church, boating, and golfing. His passion for a challenge and constant learning, can also be evidenced in his newer hobby of five years, beekeeping and honey harvesting.
